SPECIAL FEATURE: PAUL WALKER BADES FAREWELL TO MOTHER EARTH

A video showing the precise moment Paul Walker's Porsche Carrera GT crashed into a tree and burst into flames has been released. The footage of the deadly crash was captured by CCTV cameras on the roof of an industrial park close to the crash site.

The pic above was taken a few minutes after the accident on Saturday. It shows fire fighters and police physically wrestling one of Paul's friends away from the scene.

Meanwhile a friend of Paul and Roger Rodas who was at the charity show on Saturday said the two friends took the Porsche out to check for a suspected mechanical issue and not for a joyride as is being reported.
'As they were backing up the Carrera to put into the garage, it started stalling. I heard someone say, and I think it was Roger, "Why is the car stalling? Let’s take it around the block", the friend told Hollywood Reporter. 'Paul said, "Let me go with you really quickly. The whole premise of taking the car out for a drive was because something was wrong. These guys are business owners and Paul was a celebrity. They are responsible people. It was more like, "What the hell is wrong with this car? Let’s see what’s wrong and go for a drive".'

CAUSE OF DEATH

Actor Paul Walker, best known for his roles in the "Fast & Furious" action films, died from "combined effects of traumatic and thermal injuries" in a car accident, the Los Angeles County coroner said on Wednesday.

Walker, 40, was a passenger in a fiery one-car crash on Saturday in Santa Clarita, California, about 30 miles northwest of Los Angeles. The driver of the Porsche Carrera GT, Roger Rodas, died of multiple traumatic injuries, the coroner said.

As a result of Walker's death, Universal Pictures has put filming "Fast & Furious 7" on hold for an unspecified period. The film was slated to be released on July 11, 2014.

"At this time we feel it is our responsibility to shut down production on 'Fast & Furious 7' for a period of time so we can assess all options available to move forward with the franchise," Universal Pictures, a unit of Comcast Corp, said in a statement.

The coroner ruled that both deaths were accidents and said that the injuries occurred when the car struck a fixed object.

Surveillance video shows the red Porsche crashing into a utility pole and bursting into flames about a minute later, according to footage shown on CNN.

Toxicology reports on the bodies will be completed in six to eight weeks, the coroner's office said.

Walker became a symbol of street-racing and car culture in his roles in the "Fast & Furious" series, which has grossed more than $2 billion at the global box office since its debut in 2001.

TYRESE VISITS CRASH SITE

Paul Walker's The Fast and the Furious co-star Tyrese Gibson traveled to Santa Clarita on Sunday to visit the crash site where his good friend was killed just hours earlier.
Standing at the scene of tragedy, Tyrese broke down in tears.
This breaks our hearts.
While surrounded by Paul’s fans, admirers and mourners, Gibson laid a single yellow flower to honor Paul. The crowd was completely silent while Tyrese was paying his respects.
Tyrese then took a piece of Paul’s wrecked car with him as he left. He later posted on Instagram a picture of him holding it (see below) along with a caption that read:
"I will keep your energy with me forever#AshesOfAnAngel fast family around the world we live you and we love you Paul is the heartbeat of this franchise and were gonna see to it that his energy and presence lives on forever #myhearthurtssobad”

ADIEU PAUL.....WE WILL ALL MISS YOU DEARLY (R.I.P)
