When the Pennsylvania, USA based Morgan Entertainment Company decided to enter the Nigerian scene in grand style with the signing of indigenous music legends like Prince Morocco Maduka, Chief Dr. Ozoemena Nwansugbe and a host of other promising talents like MC Loph, NED, the intention was to take the scene to another level.
But on Wednesday 14th September 2011, the Nigerian Music Industry lost a treasured talent and one of the finest indigenous rappers making waving, Morgan Entertainment Company latest signee MC Loph in a ghastly motor accident on his way to his home town in Anambra State for his own traditional marriage ceremony built for 17th September 2011.

MORGAN ENTERTAINMENT
Prior to this terrible disaster, MC Loph who was first signed to East Side Records alongside Mr Raw Nwanne (formerly Dat Nigga Raw), Sho Boi and Sino came into limelight with a superb remix of Highlife Icon Chief Stephen Osita Osadebe's "Osondi Onwendi" in which he featured Oringo Master Flavour N'Abania. The award-winning rendition was a monster hit instantly setting the lovable Ibo Rapper on a pedestal of admiration.
Ever since he had been winning musical fans and lovers alike while touring round the world spreading his gospel of Ibo-rap. One of such sojourns caught the eyes and admiraton of Mr. Emeka Oguejiofor C.E.O of US based Morgan Entertainment USA (after his contract with East Side Records had expired) who instantly feel in love with the humility and determination of MC Loph and he swore to make him go places. Pen was put to paper and Morgan Entertrainment officially made MC Loph their artiste and immediately set out to produce an album which was still in the works when the inevitable occured.
From the forth-coming album were such songs like "One Chance", "Ifensoli" and "What The Girls Want" featuring Faze (of defunct Plantashun Boiz) which had become popular among his fans and music lovers.
Plans were already in gear for the strategic launch of activities into Nigeria music scene for Morgan Entertainment which was meant to start with an elaborate ceremony of MC Loph's traditional marriage to the release of his new videos for airplay.

EARLY DAYS
MC Loph a.k.a Ogbe Achicha back in the school days you were a source of inspiratrion to we your peers. You always nudged us on even all morale and spirit were dwindling. I recall how you stood by me during my time of despair. You kept telling me it would be better someday. Our school days of showbiz which gave birth to what is striving today in the country (alongside the likes of Tuface Innocent Ujah Idibia, Kingsley Dauda The Hooligan Ogbonna, Austin Blackface Ahmedu, Ernest El Creme Asuzu, Afamefuna Klint Da Drunk Igwemba, Okechukwu Mr Raw Nwanne Ukeje, Tobechukwu Ill Bliss, Obiora Obiwon Nwokolobiagu, Lotanna Big Lo Udezue, late Ricky Wacko Jacko Eze etc) would be missed and cherished forever .
Your alias which was culled from your love for loaf of bread back in the days brings bitter smiles to my face. Many do not know but you were the first to come up with Ibo rap thus inspiring a musical genre revolution that has come of prominence today.
For you it was yardstick to yardstick. A pity you demised at the turn of events for your career. Your legacy and words still remain ever-green in hearts of your friends and colleagues with the hope of meeting again.
Adieu my friend, client, colleague and brother......say me Hi to Ricky.
