Talented Female Rapper and Songwriter Modupe Rebecca Oshinaike better known as Lucylee was born May 27th 1988.
The infamous Lucylee has been in the entertainment industry for a while. She started as a dancer for the likes of Jahborne, 2Shot, Ruggedman and D'Banj. She played a major roll in D'Banj's Tongolo video before going back to school to get her Bsc.
She had her University education at Olabisi Onabanjo University where she studied Economics. Upon graduation she got a job with an advertising company.
Lucylee perfected her wit and rhyming skills during office hours a fit hardly heard of among contemporary artistes.
She hit the rap scene with her deafening lyrics and all hell broke loose. Why you may ask how? Well primarily there had never been a female hip-hop type like her in the music industry in Nigeria. She revolutionized the sound of hip-hop music to the tune of her culture. She knows how to precisely dole out lyrical lines while simultaneously making music lovers shake and drop.
Lucylee's reputation like an uncontrollable epidemic began among her peers spreading all over her hometown.
Word of her lyrical prowess reached the ears of a ace producer Benjay. In a short while of teaming up with Benjay a.k.a (Dem Dey Feel Am So) , the duo produced two earth shaking hip-hop tracks "Monster" and "Right Turn" which became an instant hit.
