C-REAL DEBUTS WITH TWO SINGLES - OPEIMU FEAT. M.ANIFEST + HEWALE [STRENGHT] FEAT. E.L

Born Cyril-Alex Gockel, C-Real is a Ghanaian emcee from Hohoe in the Upper Volta region of Ghana. He was runner-up in 2009's Channel O Emcee Africa competition, losing to Zimbabwe's Zeus who was on Big Brother Africa and Botswana's Cibil Nyte.

The album EMCEO is themed on a rapper's dual nature as a businessman and an emcee. Featured on the album are Ghanaian heavyweights like E.L. (who did the hook on Sarkodie's You Go Kill Me), Efya, M.anifest and Channel O's J.town.

Opeimu and Hewale are two songs from the album. On the hiphop-ish Opeimu, he features Channel O nominated rapper, M.anifest while E.L. delivers a strong and touching hook on the latter which is named for the Twi word for strength, a ballad to encourage everyone passing through hard times and struggling for relevance.

A video for Hewale is to be shot in a forthnight in Accra, Ghana. Be on the lookout for more materials from C-Real as he takes over the world, one rap verse at a time.

The album is available on iTunes, Amazon and soon to be on Spinlet.
