Mr.
Jay Vic who was born in Bristol (UK) , but counts his parents Nigerian and
African roots as his strongest motivation decided to release ‘I Love Africa’ as
a song to show the world that the continent of Africa is full of riches,
beauty, talent , and above all love. Production on the track comes courtesy of
engineer AyoBeatz whose work credits include; R&B star Omarion, Dru hill,
Ginuwine, and many others.
Mr
Jay Vic commented “The song I love Africa is a positive song, that’s about
unity, peace and appreciating the beauty God has created for us, it’s great
music that everyone can relate to at any age”.
The
artist also shows his family side on a recent interview with the Official
African Charts show powered by Mokingo where he confesses his son Jaeden Emeka
Johnson for being the real inspiration for this song.
No
stranger to the music industry. Mr. Jay Vic has had quite a colourful past. In
2009 he joined a competition by Hugo boss aired on MTV Base and was picked to
perform alongside pop group, Suga Babes and rapper, Bashy.
2011
also saw Mr. JayVic sign with Standard Records UK releasing two singles ‘Love
Allergy’ and ‘One for Me’.
The singles gained consistent airplay on leading
African networks including; OBE Tv, BenTv, VoxAfrica Tv and Channel AKA, also
in local and cable stations in Nigeria and West Africa. Also with a lot of
collaborations in the grapevine with A-list acts in Nigeria from Iyanya,
Davido, Timaya and a host of African acts.
