Sensational Nigerian singer, songwriter and producer Runtown is really making headlines after parting ways with his record label, Ericmany Records and it was not an amicable parting of ways as after Ericmany (owned by billionaire businessman Okwudili Umenyiora) got a court injunction stopping Runtown from performing as an artist amongst other things pending when they settle their issues, Runtown got his lawyers to write to the label claiming threat to life, extortion and non-payment of his dues/royalties from performances, ring-back tunes etc. He also states to have returned all properties he got from the label as part of signing entitlements when he signed with them in 2014.
