Nigerian R&B Sensation TJAN embarks on an African Tour

Nigerian RnB Award winning act and Right Entertainment signee, Tijani Olasunmbo Fowosere aka Tjan, is currently embarking on a successful African tour.

The tour is a first for him and just the beginning of the penetration of his music and brand outside of Nigerian shores.

Tjan embarked on an African tour as a means of breaking into the continental market and this takes the form of PR activities and interviews as well as club appearances. This African tour comes on the heels of Tjan receiving “A-List” play-listing on all major radio and TV stations for his singles "Aduke" and "Meji featuring YCee" (both produced by the iconic Sony Music producer Cobhams Asuquo), which are still on high rotation in Nigeria.

His first stop was at Benin Republic where he had a couple of radio interviews like Golf FM Cotonou.

Next stop was South Africa where his first club appearance was at Blue Room, Hatfield, Pretoria, South Africa last Thursday.

So far he has been interviewed on Vow FM (Afrodisiac Show), Capricorn FM, Tshwane FM, Good Morning Africa on Africa Magic, Daily Planet Show on Planet TV, Trans Africa Radio, GL FM and most notably hosted by TRACE TV and MTV Base.

He was also interviewed on Cliff Central/Touch Central and his hit singles "Aduke" and "Meji" are currently receiving massive buzz on radio, television plus online platforms in South Africa.

As the tour continues he will be doing some recordings/collaborations with some artists while in the South Africa. 

"Meji" which a new favourite has increased Tjan’s popularity with its radio and TV air play; also with an astounding hit of over 100,000 views on Vevo/YouTube in just one week of release and still growing.

Tjan who has just been nominated for “Best R&B and Soul” category at the AFRIMA 2016, is a testament to his growing brand and consistency over the past two years and shows his music cuts across West, East and Southern African region as well as at the heart of the urban scene.
