Artiste Managers Association in Nigeria
(AMAN), has released a new logo as they step up activities to make an
imprint in the Nigerian Entertainment Industry. The new insignia christened
‘Springboard to Stardom’ (#S2S) represents the ideals and vision of the new
group founded by Mavin Grandpa.
Mavin Grandpa who is also the father of
popular entertainment icon, Don Jazzy, is confident that AMAN can create a
network for entertainment executives and artiste managers to learn from each
other to drive the industry forward as a “tree
cannot make a forest”. This statement emphasizes an internal part of AMAN’s
mandate to build and develop credible professionals who can manage, administer
and create innovation solutions to maximize commercial potentials for
entertainers, artistes and content producers.
AMAN indeed is a welcome development to
the Nigerian Entertainment Industry which has grown leaps and bounds in the
past decade. The market has really grown and reached new heights with
international recognition and acceptance of Nigerian Music now at an all-time
high. Without a doubt, the time is right for our content and artistes to be
professionally managed so as to reap maximum commercial value that it rightly
deserves and with AMAN, it is certainly a step in the right direction.
