WAR DRUMS AS PETER OKOYE OF P SQUARE RESPONDS TO GLOBACOM

Award winning dance duo P Square household has been on fire for a while now which resulted to GLO suspending their contract. However, Peter Okoye has finally spoken out on the issue as he took to twitter saying his silence should not be mistaken for weakness. Globacom had earlier refused to renew P Square’s contract as the company’s ambassador. This was due to the showdown that took place between Peter Okoye and representatives of GLO during the grand finale of his popular dance TV show “Dance With Peter”. According to them, Peter didn’t handle the show well, insisted on things that were not part of the contract with Glo as the sole sponsor of the show and overreacted by insulting Glo in the process (unconfirmed inside scoop says it had to do with a well known African American star who was part of the event).

But the daredevil and unarguably widely loved most of the P Square duo has bared his mind on social media (though he has long deleted the tweets) saying he won’t be bullied into submission. Read tweets below:

GLOBACOM DROPS P SQUARE AS BRAND AMBASSADORS

Telecommunication Company Globacom has dropped brothers, Peter and Paul Okoye of famed group P Sqaure as its brand ambassador.

According to reports, the pair who not long ago was in the news for in-house/family squabbles were dropped following the way Peter handled an issue that occurred during the grand finale of his dance competition/project, ‘Dance With Peter’.

Peter and one of the telecom’s representatives had been involved in a issue that the singer/dancer handled unprofessionally resulting in their termination as brand ambassador.

The sources also revealed that truly, the company had defaulted in some of the promises made, but that did not give Peter the right to insult them. This led the no-nonsense CEO of Globacom Chief Mike Adenuga who is also known not to condole artistes exuberances (it would be recalled D’Banj also met same fate years back when he was initially dropped) to ask the duo’s contract not to be renewed.

As at the time of this report, no comment has been gotten from P Square.
