Joy Ebiem entered into Destiny Child Gospel Music Talent Hunt Season 2 as the daughter of a truck driver, from the streets of Kiri-kiri in Lagos, where she lives with her mother and siblings, very tough life growing up as a young girl, but despite all odds the 23-year-old Enugu native is set to change the face of the gospel music industry.
Joy Ebiem emerged the season two winner of "Destiny Child Gospel
Music Talent Hunt" on Sunday (19th, December, 2013) alongside Hope Levi (1st
Runner up), Ese Okoro (2nd runner up), After 17 other contestants tried their
best to win the recording contract, brand new car and cash prize that came
along with the winning title. Joy Ebiem accomplished defeat, wow, surviving the
singing competition was not always easy for her, seeing other contestants go
home despite their efforts, surely you will say destiny played a very vital
role in her life.
Having tried other talent hunts in the past, but could not make it due
to her gospel ministrations, she embraced Destiny child gospel music talent
hunt on hearing that the platform was designed strictly for gospel music
ministers , which eventually turned out to be her last stop. No more long
queues with other talented youths for a place in the industry. The 23 years old
HND graduate from IMT is now a star, a young millionaire and most of all a
minister of the gospel of Jesus, her Destiny has been activated.
