2Face, Sound Sultan, General Pype, Joe El, Niyola and more to headline Industry Nite Today

Industry Night will host the Vote Not Fight campaign today, 11th of February, 2015 at Spice Route, VI, Lagos.

The Vote Not Fight campaign is a voter education campaign created with the aim of encouraging Nigerian youth to shun violence and promote unity rather than violence in the upcoming general elections.

There will be special performances by 2Face Idibia, Sound Sultan, General Pype, and Niyola. Also billed to entertain are Righteous Man, Joel, Peter Clarke, Geoffrey, Rubunu and Shola of Project Fame Season 7.

The event will kick off from 9PM and will feature a couple of surprises for attendants. Individuals who show their PVC and Vote not Fight pledge card will stand a chance to win some cool stuff.

NEWS ALERT: 7 Star General Pype And His US Girlfriend Welcome Baby Boy On Independence Day

Award winning dance hall artiste and Champion crooner Ibrahim Majekodunmi better known as General Pype has welcomed his first child (a baby boy) with his American girlfriend Zee.

The bundle of joy christened Xavier, was born on October 1, 2013 in a Nigerian hospital contrary to other news stating the baby was delivered in a US Hospital.

The thankful and delirious proud father via social media platform twitter, tweeted…

General Pype and his US girlfriend met some years back. In November 2012, Pype travelled over to the US to celebrate Thanksgiving with Zee’s family while Zee also made trips down to Nigeria to met with Pype’s mother months ago.

As you know, the original was a huge success which enjoyed major airplay all over Nigeria as well as in the UK, Malaysia, South Africa, Dubai, Ghana and Benin Republic. However, it wasn't enough, hence the need to produce the remix.

After pondering over the idea for over a year, Seun Kuti, Davido, Vector and Kayswitch were called upon to add their artistic skills since they are all masters in this game. All 4 of them came with loads of hits behind them to bless the track while Shank laced the original chorus with a few bars and of course Sarz on the decks lacing out the beat as usual and Dr Frabz helped with the mixing and mastering.

To drop a remix like no other “Mother of all remixes”, Patrick Elis who shot the video in the ghetto and urban parts of Lagos and added another creative ghetto element to this master-piece. The cameos in this project doubled the original. They include General Pype, B-Red, Ghetto P, Dr Frabz, Npz, Ice-berg Slim, Danagog, Efa, Pelli, Deevee (DB Records), MoBlow to mention a few.

This is a big one from Fricker collaborating with Shank, General Pype, K Switch and JJC on "AS IN" remix produced By Puffy T!

Fricker is a Street-Hop, Raggae, Dance Hall extraordinaire artiste currently signed to Isana Records, a label co-owned with JJC.

The dread locked musician who has a diploma degree from University of Ilorin first gained major attention back in 2009 with his smashing single 'Ijo' featuring Lord of Ajasa which gave him a lot of recognition in the streets of Lagos followed by another wave making single titled 'Kulujaja'.

Early in his career before releasing his 'As In' official single featuring JJC,

Fricker amassed a large street following and had already performed on same stage with the likes of Wyclef Jean, Sound Sultan, D’Banj and Don Jazzy, Faze, JJC, and many others.
