ABOUNCE bounces BACK (Wave Ur Arms ft OJB Jezreel and Carry Dey Go ft Ugly)

Veteran Hip Hop rapper Abounce has really showed that it still runs in the blood. He is back stronger and ever lyrically unshaken.
Born Olakunle Fawole, this Osun state protege is among the founding fathers of the Nigerian Hip Hop culture alongside Ruggedman, Trybesmen, Ruff Rugged & Raw, OJB Jezreel, Jazzman Olofin, Plantashun Boiz, Remedies, Big Lo. Elajoe to mention a few. He has displayed his sensational rap skills on works of the likes of Ruggedman, OJB Jezreel, Jazzman Olofin, C-mion, Big Lo and a host of others.
Not only is he a talented rapper, he is also a music producer and actor (a trait he got from his legendary mother, the sensational screen goddess Bukky Ajayi).

MOVIE CREDITS:
  1. Diamond Ring
  2. Cash Money (which was premiered in London)
  3. Apostle Kasali
  4. Zara etc
TV SERIES:
  1. Doctors Quarters
  2. Fuji House of Commotion
  3. Tales of Eve
  4. Soaked Secret
  5. So Wrong So Wright etc
Was also nominated for a Best Up Coming Actor category in the prestigious African Movie Academy Awards (A.M.A.A) in 2008.

Back in his hay days, he put together a masterpiece album (The Return of Iron Monkey) which did not make it far due to promotional issues with the marketer (a common phenomenon in the Nigerian Music sphere) but some of his great works with the veterans of hip hop culture in Nigeria could be seen in such songs like Pretete (OJB Jezreel) Chicks (ft C-mion), Akwa-Ibom Chicks (which was pretty much a hit then) before defunct Star Quest proteges KC Presh did a remix of the song.
The rapper who drives great inspiration from his mother and the likes of OJB Jezreel and American star rapper Method Man, feels the Nigerian music industry could be better as he says, "The industry isn't moving as it should, the artistes are the ones climbing individually without help from any quarters both financially and otherwise. We need to create more avenues and accessibility for these artistes so they can thrive better. Also there should be more variety of artistry works - diversification of genres".

In 2012 he dropped two singles titled "Wave Ur Arms ft OJB Jezreel" and "Carry Dey Go ft Ugly" which are gradually warming their way up the airwaves of the Nigerian Hip Hop Culture. Stay Tuned for more bouncy groove from ABOUNCE a.k.a Iron Monkey.

SLIQ WIZ Unleash Brand New single DOWN LOW

Ikechukwu Chinedu Enoch (born on August 27, 1993 in Lagos, Nigeria), known commonly as, Sliq Wiz is a Nigerian young dancehall-rapper, singer-songwriter and a Microbiology student at the prestigous Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, Anambra State who is originally from Delta State but was raised in Lagos. The last child of three children from an early age of 16 started his amateur music career but in 2011 it took a different course when he went up to the second stage at the Peak Talent Hunt in Asaba, Delta State.
The youngster who is yet to pen down a deal with any record label has with the guidance of his music director Mustard Siid horned his music skills on some mixtape songs like:
  1. Deuces (his own version ft Edges)
  2. Flashlight (his own version)
  3. 40-40 jingle
  4. Virus by Saga ft Sliq Wiz
  5. Bluetooth by Cyude ft Sliq Wiz.
Inspiration:
He is inspired by such A-List acts like Lil Wayne, Tuface Idibia and Don Jazzy. Also it is his dream to work with D'Prince, Wande Coal and female singer Waje.
Though yet to perform at any major concert, Sliq Wiz has done a few local school gigs whereupon he displayed tremendous talent as an entertainer that he was named Rappertainer by his peers.
Speaking on what could help such young talents like him, he says, "there should be more support by established acts and music stakeholders to enable up and coming acts to be better at their careers".
Working tirelessly on his sophomore album, his debut single "Down Low" which was produced by Nkwa Smith is gradually entering the mainstream music platforms and becoming a sure hit banger.
Sliq Wiz is an untapped talent that would turn the Nigerian music industry towards a broader dimension.
