Brief Bio
Responsible for many of the hits you have heard on the radio over the past years, BUSH is a versatile artist, who blends traditional Rhythms with elements of pop, hip-hop, and the dancehall Sound. Bush was born in Aba, Abia State and began singing at the age of five. During his early years, Bush sang at home, in church and played the recorder in primary school productions. He studied other artist's musical and vocal talents which deeply influenced his own musical style. In the late 1990's, Bush dropped out from school and relocated to Lagos to chase his career fulltime, after some demos he hooked up with Wreck, now Wrecoba to form a group NEW WORLD ORDER, Dany Dre a then member of the BLACKTRIBE later joined the NWO. An Album and a video was made,the hit song then "NA WHO DEY RULE US" gave them street popularity, played a couple of shows in Lagos,Portharcourt and Calabar but due to the delay of the video shot by DXF,the project died down. BUSH, got into LikeDat Production a management company for his solo project and concurrently managed a studio JJ MUSIC on 321 festac town, here BUSH had the opportunity to work with some of the music industry's biggest stars as an artist, arranger, writer and studio logistics this includes, TUFACE, FACE,KELLY HANDSOME, JAYWON, SAUCE KID, SCOLIE, MR DALLAS, RETTA, OLLIE G, FAYA, EKWE, AFRICAN CHINA, MARVELOUS BENJY etc
As he readies his solo project, BUSH was opening a new chapter in his career. Writing, producing and performing solo material for a couple of years until TIMAYA then the N0.1 Nigerian artist brought BUSH alongside WRECKOBA in on his DEM MAMA RECORDS.
Here he played alongside TIMAYA in most of his shows, this experience gained BUSH nation wide recognition but this was not enough for BUSH,as he left the group without notice, this shook his fans as he had a divided fan base, some were for his leaving and others against it.
BUSH now moved to GHANA to join forces with ASHIS of 5th project studio and TINNY of GHANA and CEDI & NAIRA made a solo album for his then label MAFFAJ RECORDS which was dumped again when he came back and finally signs up to PLAY RECORDS where he is working now. His popular saying being "GET URS, LET ME GET MINE, SO EVERYBODY SMILES"
BUSH A.K.A ABUJA KINGKONG, BOI FROM ENYIMBA is now ready to use his enormous talent and seasoned experience to take the music industry by storm once again. His music is a mix of beautiful mid tempo, slow tracks and some dance friendly tracks which is sure to please listeners and musical enthusiasts of all genres. He teams up with PLAY RECORDS ALL STARS NOW, RILWAN, KANEBI, LIL MISS MISS on the mixtape CASINO ROYALE coming to you soon.......
