Produced by Del’B, the "Sweet Like Shuga"
video has finally arrived. This track is a collaboration of some of Nigeria’s
hottest talents such as Flavour, Sound Sultan, Chidinma, Kcee and Professor.
The music video which was directed by renowned director, Clarence Peters, gives
us a snippet of what to expect in Season 3 of MTV Base/MTV Staying Alive's
drama series Shuga.
“Sweet Like Shuga” is about the temptations faced by
young people and echoes some of the key storylines in the Shuga TV series,
which finds it key cast members engaging in a whole range of risky behaviours
from multiple sexual partners to unprotected sex, teenage pregnancy,
gender-based violence and failing to disclose their HIV status.
