ARTISTE MANAGERS ASSOCIATION IN NIGERIA REMEMBERS FOUNDING PRESIDENT CHIEF GILBERT ODIGIE OBOH
Nigeria's premiere talent managers body Artiste Managers Association in Nigeria AMAN today remembers their founding president Chief Gilbert Odigie Oboh who passed on 9th June 2002. In his memorial message to members, one of the founding fathers of the body and present President Mr Collins Enebeli had this to say,
"On behalf of the board of trustees, national executives and the entire members of AMAN, we wish to pay our respect to the memory of our late founding president Chief Gilbert Odigie Oboh who passed on to glory sixteen years ago on the 9th of June 2002. His vision, pioneering efforts and focused leadership was highly instrumental to the formation and registration of AMAN but God knows the best as he did not live long enough to translate his dreams of a strong AMAN to reality. God called him home too soon at age 45 and we can not question God. In his memory, We remember him today as always and continue to pray for his gentle and loving soul to continue to rest in perfect peace. Our consolation is that we are keeping the flag flying and know that his spirit will be happy that we have not let him down and his efforts towards the establishment of AMAN is not in vain. May his soul continue to rest in peace. Sleep on, our dear founding president".
He would be dearly missed and his footprints in seeing the profession of talent management in Nigeria to be raised to an elevated position would always remembered.
