Ok people I won't lie, TEARS came to my eyes listening to this song....not because I'm a softie but because I actually witnessed the toils and humble beginning of this talented R&B gift to Nigeria and Africa at large back in school. Then he was just your normal guy but his love for music always showed. Then we that had taken to showbiz as students were seen as miscreants, losers and every derogatory word likened to entertainers then.
Yes you all yabbed, cajoled and made fun of him...don't deny. But today Innocent Ujah Idibia a.ka. Tuface Idibia a.k.a Lord Elly a.k.a Africa's Gift who single-handedly brought contemporary African Music to limelight with one of the greatest love songs ever and from then all is history is more than a role model to many Africans.
I'm happy and proud to have been a schoolmate with Africa's Greatest Living Legend... Tu Baba Thanks.
