Kanye West won't be charged for attacking a
photographer (and his camera) at LAX last week, reports TMZ. Paramedics were
called to the airport after West unleashed on the prying cameraman for breaking
his strict "never talk" policy.
'Ye was facing a felony burglary charge over the
flip-out, but LAPD investigators were unable to find evidence supporting the
offense. Still, authorities plan to transfer the alleged robbery report to the
Los Angeles D.A.'s office, where it will likely be rejected.
West could be prosecuted under the lesser crime of misdemeanour
criminal battery, if he doesn't use his wallet to stop that from happening.
Sources say the Chicago native is on board with making a "civil
compromise," meaning he'll pay the paparazzo to make the entire thing go
away.
Before the attack the "I Am God" MC
predicted the fight would cost him. "What you're trying to do is get me in
trouble," West told the pap. "So I'll have to pay you like
$250,000!"
It's unknown how much money he'll actually have to
cough up.
