The
singer and X Factor judge, Kelly Rowland is OFFICIALLY engaged is engaged to
marry her manager, Tim Witherspoon.
Reports
of their upcoming union ignited after Rowland was seen wearing a large diamond
ring in a video of her posted on a friend's Instagram account.
This
will be the first marriage for Rowland, who was previously engaged to NFL
player Roy Williams. The couple split in January 2005 several months before their
planned wedding. "I was too young for marriage," the British X Factor
judge later told Cosmopolitan UK of their breakup. "But sometimes you fall down
and you learn from it."
In
her latest single, "Dirty Laundry," Rowland sings about an abusive
boyfriend and her jealousy of former Destiny’s Child group member Beyonce. "It
was very emotional. It took me days to record," Rowland said about
the track. "I had to get past being so upset and actually sing the song, not
sob through it."
Rowland's
fourth studio album, "Talk a Good Game," was released June 18
